Chennai-based Ceebros Group that recently launched its second hotel in Chennai will further expand its position in the Indian hospitality segment by investing a total of Rs 430 crore for the various residential and hospitality projects in Chennai.
The company’s third property on the Airport Road, with an investment of Rs 180 crore, is currently under construction and would be opened in the near future. The proposed hotel will have 200 rooms. C Subba Reddy, Managing Director, Ceebros Group said, “The new 230-room hotel at Annasalai has all amenities. The contemporarily styled hotel had been designed by architects and designers Uphasani Design Cells, and interiors by Zeiler & Lim, Malaysia”.
While the group’s second property ‘Raintree' has 230 rooms and features 3 banquet halls that can accommodate over 1,000 guests, spa and fitness centre, rooftop swimming pool and 3 restaurants, the company's first hotel ‘Raintree’ on St. Mary's Road enjoys an occupancy level of 80 per cent.
“Chennai is a prominent destination for international business travellers, given the city's leadership position in automobiles and auto components, information technology, textile and leather. The international travellers look forward to world-class experience in Chennai too. So the group would concentrate only on constructing luxury hotels,” Reddy added.
