Day 1 Arrival at Leh
After your arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to the hotel. After checking into the hotel, you will take a rest for day to get used to the climate. The evening will be reserved for a stroll around the Leh bazaar. The overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 2 Leh Monasteries
The whole day will be spent in visiting the famous monasteries of Leh. The first thing will be to attend the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Thereafter, you will proceed towards Hemis monastery. On the way back, you will visit the Shey Palace and then retire to your hotel rooms for the night.
Day 3 Leh - Alchi - Uletokpo
In the morning, you will leave for Uletokpo camping, one of the most splendid camping places in the Ladakh region. Enroute, you will stop for visiting the Spituk monastery and Alchi monastery (only monastery in the Ladakh on flat ground). You will arrive in Uletokpo by the lunchtime. After enjoying the evening by the riverside, you will retire for the night to the camp.
Day 4 Uletokpo - Lamayuru - Leh
The morning will start with a 22 km drive to Lamayuru via Khaltsi. Lamayuru monastery is the oldest monastery, dating back the 10th century. By late afternoon, you will leave for Leh, stopping enroute at the magnetic hill. The overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 5 Leh - Khardongla Pass - Leh
After having your breakfast, you will leave for a full day excursion to Khardongla pass, the highest motorable pass in the world at 5600 m. you will enjoy the scenic beauty of the snow clad mountains from the top. By evening, you will leave for Leh and stay at the hotel for the night.
Day 6 Leh - Pangong Lake - Leh
Early morning, around 5 a.m., you will leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass (at 5486 m). A visit to Changla pass will leave you mesmerized with the magnificent view of the villages below. Thereafter, you will stop for a picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pasture of the yaks. Continuing the drive, you will reach Durbuk, from where a short drive will lead you to the western shore of the Pangong Lake. The unforgettable natural beauty of the lake will remain etched in your memory for a long time to come. By late afternoon, you will leave for Leh and retire to your hotel for the night.
Day 7 Leh - Delhi
In the morning, you will leave for Delhi airport. From there you will take a flight to your destination.
