Day 01: Delhi - Pathankot
Arrive at Delhi International airport. Our representatives will greet
you on arrival and escort you on the journey to Pathankot.
Day 02: Pathankot - Dharamshala
You arrive in Pathankot and thereafter, check into the hotel. Freshen
up and have breakfast, after which you can see the local sights. In the
afternoon, you will leave for the hill resort of Dharamshala. Arriving
there, check into the hotel. Later, go on a visit of Namgyal Monastery,
Dal Lake and Church of St. John in the Wilderness. Return to the hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 03: Dharamshala Sightseeing
After breakfast in the morning, you will move towards Bhagsunag temple.
Visit Macleodgunj after the lunchtime. There, you will be visiting the
numerous Buddhist stupas and monasteries. Return to the hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 04: Dharamshala - Shimla
Leave Mcleodganj for Shimla after breakfast. Arrive in Shimla by
evening and check in to the hotel. Remaining day is for your independent
activity. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 05: Shimla Sightseeing
Leave your hotel room early in the morning, to visit the Jakhoo temple.
Walk towards the Mall Road, for experiencing European architecture.
Thereafter, you will be taken to the hamlet of Mashobra. You will also
visit golf course at Naldehra, and the steep slopes of Kufri. You will
return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6 Shimla - Sarahan
After having breakfast, leave Shimla for Sarahan. This heritage village
is located in picturesque valley, on the bank of Sutlej River.
Afterwards, visit the famous Bhimkali temple, built in timber and stone,
at an altitude of 2165 m. It is a mix of Hindu and Buddhist
architecture, with two stately towers. Return to the hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 07: Shimla - Kalpa
Leave your hotel room early in the morning, for Kalpa. Located at an
altitude of 2960 meters, Kalpa lies in the Kinnaur district. Arrive in
Kalpa and check in to your hotel. Visit the quiet village, offering
fantastic views of the Kinner Kailash ranges across the river. Visit
Narayan Nagini temple, a specimen of local architecture and artisanship.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08: Kalpa - Tabo
Leave Kalpa for Tabo after breakfast. Arrive at Tabo village, known for
the 1000-year-old Tabo monastery, located at the altitude of 3050
meters. The monastery is now a world heritage site of UNESCO. It clay
made stucco images that show the cultural heritage of the place, many of
which are in good condition even now. Leave the monastery and stay
overnight in the hotel.
Day 09: Tabo - Kaza
After breakfast, you will be taken to town of Kaza. After reaching the
town, check in to the hotel. Rest for a while and leave for visiting the
ancient Dhankar monastery, situated high up on rocky hillside. Stay
overnight in the hotel.
Day 10: Kaza Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the 14th century built Ki Monastery that is
situated at the altitude of 4116 meters. Three temples have images of
Lord Buddha besides there, where you can also see old musical
instruments and 108 volumes of ancient scripture. The place is residence
for monks who learn these scriptures and musical instruments. After
visiting Ki Monastery, we will take you to north to Kibber village,
situated at the altitude of 4205 meters. Return to Kaza and stay in the
hotel overnight.
Day 11: Kaza - Manali
Early in the morning, leave Kaza for Manali. Enroute, see the Kunzum La
pass, situated at the altitude of 4950 meters. Trek to the Lahaul
region, along the Chandra River. You will come face to face with 13,050
feet high Rohtang Pass. Soon, you will see change in landscape and
people around you. By late evening, you arrive in Manali and check into
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12: Manali Sightseeing
Leave your hotel room after breakfast, to visit the 500-year-old
Hadimba Devi Temple, built within a thick grove of gigantic deodars. A
mini museum, comprising of local utensils, dresses and other local
paraphernalia, is a source to know the history and culture of land and
its people. Thereafter, visit the ancient temple of Vashisht, rich with
its curative hot sulphur springs. Also visit the old Tibetan Monastery.
Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13: Manali - Delhi
After breakfast, you will leave Manali for Delhi. It will take around
twelve hours to reach Delhi by road. Arrive in Delhi and check in to the
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 14: Departure from Delhi
In the morning, visit various tourist attractions in Delhi, like Qutub
Minar, Lotus Temple, Chhatarpur Temple, National Museum, Red Fort and
Jama Masjid. Return to the hotel and pack up for departure. Our
representatives will take you to the airport, to help you catch your
flight.
