South Central Railways (SCR), one of the 16 railway zones in India has announced 34 Weekly Special trains that will run between Nizamabad - Visakhapatnam in order to clear extra rush of passengers.
According to the schedule, Train No 0866 Nizamabad - Visakhapatanam Weekly Special Train will depart Nizamabad at 6.10 PM every Wednesday from September 8 - December 29 and arrive at Vishakapatnam at 10:15 AM, the next day. In the return direction, Train No 0865 Visakhapatanam - Nizamabad Weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatanam at 7:30 hrs every Tuesday from September 7- December 28 and arrive at Nizamabad at 11:50 AM , the next day.
Enroute, these Special trains will stop at Kamareddi, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudam, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni and Duvvada in both the directions. These special trains will have 1 AC II tier, 1 AC III tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 5 General Second Class, 1 Second Class Luggage cum Brake van for Disabled persons, 1 Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coach, and 1 Pantry Car totaling to 18 coaches.
South Central Railway has also introduced 8 super fast special trains between Secunderabad and Tirupati in order to clear the extra rush of passengers
