Luxury hotelier Elisabetta Gucci is planning to open 40 hotels in the Middle East, Far East and South America within a span of 15 years and aims to launch its first 87 room luxury boutique hotel in Dubai by the end of 2010.
A chain of hotels will be developed in the Gulf Arab region by the hotelier who has partnered with Abu Dhabi developer Baitek International Real Estate. Elisabetta Gucci also plans to start a hotel management company in June to operate hotels worldwide and ensure quality is sustained.
“We intend to develop other hotels for the Gulf Cooperation Council and outside our focus will be Russia, China, Far East, Africa and South America, particularly Brazil,” said Lorens Ziller, partner at Elisabetta Gucci Hotels & Resorts.
