India’s lavish hotels and spas such as the Taj, Leela Kempinski, Oberoi and Ananda have launched special schemes for the domestic luxury travellers.
The offers that are mostly scheduled to conclude in June include discounts on food and beverages, special incentives for booking rooms on the Web, subsidized room rates, weekend rates, complimentary transfers and free internet access.
The Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces are giving a complimentary night stay to guests booking rooms at any of its hotels for atleast 2 nights. The Oberoi Hotels and Resorts runs an ‘ exotic vacations’ package for guests staying for 2 nights and more that includes special rates, airport transfer, breakfast and additional room for children.
“The Indian outbound traveller has become more discerning and appreciative of luxury products in India,” says Sanjoy Pasricha, vice-president, sales and marketing, at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.
