Ayanat House is the home of one of the oldest Syrian Christian families in Kerala. It is built in Art Deco style, which was in fashion in the early part of the 20th century. It is situated in a picturesque village of Thykattusserry, on the banks of the Kaithappuzha River. It provides a soothing and refreshing backwater experience. Ayanat House is probably one of the few homes, which are preserved for sensitive modern-day visitors to experience the village life in rural Kerala.
